What a Drag it is Getting Old, Kids are Different Today
Happy belated birthday to Mick Jagger who turned 68 yesterday. He's still rocking hard and has even formed a new group, Super Heavy. He lived the life of sex, drugs, and rock and roll and survived. He's never slowing down even though he sang, "What a drag it is getting old". So he may be be 68 but once a rocker always a rocker.

Hello Goodbye
Hi everyone, how are you doing? Sorry I haven't posted in a long time but the truth is the blog that I started long ago that I loved and had so much fun with doesn't exist anymore. I used to post almost everyday. I found joy in learning about the topics and finding amazing pictures on the past. But eventually I lost interest. The 70s appealed to be greatly while the 80s lost its charm. The MTV decade became too poppy and flashy for me. I listened to the music so much that I became bored and tired of it. I used to think the 80s was the greatest time to be alive with new music, the invention of MTV, and the people that came out. But soon I learned it wasn't all that great. No decade is. In every decade there's some kind of problem but we learn to work through and have fun. I came back to the present ready to live life. I disappeared from the blogging world and thought I wouldn't come back.
One day I was on the web looking up Fleetwood Mac and I starting reading about Mick Fleetwood. I clicked on the link to read about his first wife the beautiful, Jenny Boyd. I found out she was a successful model in the Sixties and her sister was Pattie Boyd. At the time I had no idea who Pattie Boyd was. Pattie was a very successful model of the Sixties, photographer, wife of legendary Beatle George Harrison, and wife to Eric Clapton as well. I read more about Pattie and fell in love with her life story. Her story and life was extremely appealing to me and when I learned that she had published a book about her life I quickly went down to the library to check it out. In her book she talked about the Sixties and I fell in love. (again) The Sixties was an amazing time full of great people, great music, and great fashion. I started listening to the music, learning about the culture, and learning about the people. It was all soo fascinating. I became a huge fan of The Beatles. One day I decided to start a new blog about the Sixties and Seventies more Sixties though. I really love my new blog and have so much fun with it. I've met amazing people and I'm having a great time. So I have now come to the decision to end my blog. I'm very proud of the work I did but it's just not that fun anymore. I will post at least ten more times before I leave. Thank you to all my followers sorry to didn't give you consistent work. I think the eighties will always have a special place in my heart but currently the seventies and sixties are what I'm about. So thanks again to everyone. It's almost time to say goodbye.
